Creating a meaningful experience
The Fibre Arts Festival, held annually on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, was created as a vibrant gathering place for fibre artists, hobbyists, and enthusiasts to come together, share their passion, and build meaningful connections.
Since launching in 2018, the festival has been thoughtfully designed to offer more than just workshops, it provides a rich, nurturing environment focused on inspiring creativity and wellbeing. Attendees enjoyed world-class workshops led by international fibre artists alongside peaceful surroundings featuring rainforest walks, daily yoga sessions, serene tea spaces, and unique areas for relaxation and social connection.
Our team oversaw the complete event lifecycle, managing everything from branding, website development, and ticketing to contracting artists from New Zealand and Australia, and delivering seamless on-the-day event execution. We worked closely with the Sunshine Coast District Council and The Gubbi Gubbi people to ensure the festival honored local culture and community.
